The recording which was essentially the kick-starter for the record label. Following a couple releases on other labels, Summit Brass opted to create their own identity and home. Toccata & Fugue was the first release on their Summit Records.
Summit Brass was the first and only truly American brass ensemble to represent the United States. It is comprised of soloists and principal orchestra players from the San Francisco Opera, the St. Louis Symphony, the Chicago Symphony, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the San Francisco Symphony, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and the National Repertory Orchestra.
