Lawrence Strieby

Biography
Lawrence (Larry) Strieby studied at Lawrence College and the New England Conservatory. In 1967, he joined the St. Louis Symphony as Assistant Principal Horn. Strieby was a longtime member of the St. Louis Brass Quintet and a founder of Summit Brass. His favorite non-musical pastimes include sailing, motorcycling, and bowling.
Recently remarried, he has two grown children and seven grandchildren.
