Biography

Over the past 30 years, the Dave Miller Trio has played publicly and privately throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Comprised of Dave Miller (pianist and band leader), Mario Suraci (bass) and Bill Belasco (drums), the group boasts a strong repertoire from American Songbook pianists Bill Evans, and Nat King Cole, among others, and has recently expanded to Latin and bebop, as evident in their latest collaboration, Better Than Anything. This album, released this year on Summit Records, features celebrated vocalist Rebecca DuMaine. Recent critics see her voice as possessing the “musicality and maturity to become a major jazz vocalist.” Come and hear for yourself what the buzz is about.
